St-Malo Restaurants

St-Malo may have a high concentration of hotels located within the citadel but even these are exceeded by the sheer number of restaurants. Here, strong demand means prices are as high as anywhere in Brittany.

As one might expect from a seaport such as St-Malo, many of the eateries specialise in seafood and fresh fish. Whilst this can push up the cost of a set menu it is still possible to eat on a budget in the many creperies.

In addition to the restaurants in the Old Town it is possible to find high quality places to eat outside the walls in St-Severan and along the main beach promenade to the east.
