St-Malo Weather

St-Malo and the coast of north eastern Brittany experience a mild temperate climate. Summers are slightly more reliable and warm and than those in Britain and temperatures can reach the 80s during peak season in July and August.

The shoulder seasons of spring and autumn are mild and see higher rainfall. Fortunately, rainy spells are fairly short lived and often interspersed with pleasant blue sky days.

Winter in this part of France is also less harsh than the UK, with severe frosts and sub zero temperatures a rare occurrence. November to January are the wettest months however there is still a reasonable amount of winter sunshine.
